Alana and I started Mandurah Sounds and Rockingham Sounds after we sold off Mandurah Watersport's Hire. The business grew from me doing single DJ gigs to the following.

Professional Audio
DJ/Compare Service and Public Address Hire for all occasions

On the other side of the card we advertised that
We can also recommend, supply, and install public address and sound systems to suit your requirements. large or small, inside or out, anywhere in W.A.

We mainly used Bose 302 and Bose 802 Bass speakers and mixed and matched them. It was possible to do a wedding with 2 302's, and a decent band with 2 302's and a couple of Bose 802 Bass bins.
You could then add onto that again and again by simply adding Amplifiers. Most of the Amps we used put out 400watts.

Above: At a bridal fair in Mandurah. After a while we had all of the local function centres and photographers recommending us.

4 Bose 302's - Mixing desk - lights - cassette decks - radio mike.

Mandurah Radio station 6MM using our equipment for an outside broadcast in a shopping centre.

We did regular shows at the Lark Hill Sport complex for the Horse Racing fraternity providing the sound equipment, music and a bit of chat on the mike.
A band could also plug into the same equipment.
