Street & Strip was a little magazine that we put together during the Drag Racing period.

I was the Managing Editor, Glenn Edwards (my future brother in law) was the Associate Editor, Lynette Edwards was the Editorial Assistant, Greg Abbott was the Pictorial Editor and my little brother Geoff was Pictorial Assistant.

Contributors for the first issue were Peter Lynn, Vince Berriman, Graeme Harris, Bill Lee and J.M.

I stuck the pages-proofs together, and I am sure I had help, and then took them to the Independent Newspaper (now defunct) who would print them for us.

Vol 1 No 1 Vol 1 No 2

The first issue Vol 1 No 1 came out in January 1970 at a cost of 30c. This and the following edition was in magazine form and we had to pretty much lug them around to any newsagents that would put them on display.

We also sold them at Drag Meets but from memory we didn't sell enough to cover printing costs from the sales and advertising so Vol 1 No 3 which was in more of a newspaper format at 20c and was the last one printed.

Vol 1 No 3

continued Archery 1
